The Institute

The field naturalists
of W.E.F.I.N.D.

Stationed at research outposts spanning every major biome on Earth, the Institute's specialists document the species that most of the world has never heard of - and never forgets once encountered.

"Through channels both official and informal - the careful observation of those who know you, and the recommendations of members who recognize a certain quality of mind when they encounter it - your name has been brought before the Admissions Committee."

- Wilhelmina Euphemia Finch, Letter of Invitation

The specialists are the Institute's voice in the game. When their card is played, the field comes to you.
